England Premier League

-Manchester City vs Blackburn-
Manchester City hate playing Blackburn. The last time they beat them was in 2003, and when it comes to home games Manchester City can never do better than a draw. I'm sticking with Blackburn here and hoping the trend continues.

With recent H2H history of the 2,along with the fact Balckborn lost its all recent 4 games and City didn't drop any points as of yet at home this season in league games it is probably about time for some upset here
Will probbaly join you for the ride tomorrow,GL:)

I don't see them losing back to back games at home.

I saw your bet for this game, but the point is it may end as a draw ,not necessarily as a loss for city and in light of the fact City has not won any match vs Blackborn since 2003 the pressure here will be probably on them, despite playing at home.
City lost once this season at home vs Tottenham in Curling cup ,in which they never played well against as well for several years by now
so no reason to see any different outcome and good reason to believe they will keep the same trend tomorrow and certainly won't win.

Understood. I personally put a lot more emphasis on recent performances (good or bad) than I do in head to head previous years.

Thats how it should be,but you have to considier probabilties too, seeing City has 9 winning streak at home has to end at some point just as 4 losing streak for Balckburn has to end at some point too,and then City facing a team which plays nasty and they never did well against should be probably a good timing to seek a draw here or play the dog AH.just my opinion, tomorrow we w'll see if the trend goes on or not :)

Man City is overrated, watched many of their games and they have had luck on their side many a time.

Blackburn has looked shaky at the back recently but still have to say value is with Rovers at the current line, plus just saw the lineups and Elano is on the bench.

true the goal could've been ruled offside (and probably should have) but Blackburn outplayed Man City in the second half and did deserve a result. Look for Man City to lose to Liverpool on Sunday.

Nice call Kid A.

thanks hpark =)

what are you guys talking about? that goal wasn't offsides at all, I dvr'd the highlights of that goal and played it over and over again and Dunn never touched the ball, rule is if an offside player doesn't touch the ball then play keeps rollin

Not true. Touching the ball has nothing to do with it.

lol, you are right b4fun it really doesn't matter, but just for you to know for future reference joey, not touching the ball is part of the offside rule. Sky Sports took the time to state the rule of offsides during an interview with good old Sven and they even stated that as long as a player in an offside position doesn't touch the ball, they are not considered part of play. It basically makes no difference if they were there or not. The fact of the matter is the ref made it look shady as hell, he called it offside then he changed his mind, since when do refs do that? Usually they stick to one decision whether its right or wrong.

If you intefere with a play in an offside position (in this case he attempted to, but missed, head the ball), regardless of contact with the ball, you are deemed to be offside.

My point is you don't have to touch the ball to be offside.
